Sony India showcased their innovative line-up of Alpha mirrorless cameras and G Master lenses at the Consumer Electronic Imaging Fair (CEIF), held in Mumbai from 8th - 10th January, 2020. Organized by the All India Photographic Trade and Industry Association (AIPTIA), CEIF was a three-day fair, that attracted close to 40,000 visitors from all over the country.
A unifying platform for photography experts, artisans, influencers, enthusiasts and retailers, visitors at the CEIF 2020 thronged the Sony India booth in large numbers. With the intention to actively engage and interact with photography enthusiasts, five different experience zones with varying themes were curated, which were, Wedding, Fashion, Vlogging, Visual storytelling and Wildlife. The set-up enabled visitors to experience different aspects of photography like bokeh at the Wedding zone, detailing at the Fashion zone, vlog making at the Vlogging zone, speed at the Visual storytelling zone and a variety of lenses at the Wildlife zone.
Commenting on Sony’s participation in CEIF, Mukesh Srivastava, Product Marketing Lead -Digital Imaging, Sony India, said, “For us, CEIF continues to be a great platform enabling us to touch-base with industry experts, photographers and photo-enthusiasts across the country. We offered visitors a specially curated hands-on experience of a wide variety of cameras and lenses in a real-time set-up. The event gives us an opportunity to explore and further understand the evolving dynamics of the digital imaging sector and further narrow the gap between brand and end customers.”
This year, the Vlogging zone attracted the maximum number of visitors. We saw young enthusiasts inquire specifically about Sony Alpha 6600 mirrorless camera and Sony Alpha 6100 APS-C with fast AF. They were keen to know about the features and usage case scenarios of these specific vlogging cameras by interacting with our dedicated zone specialist. Our booth served as a platform to experience the full range of Sony Alpha cameras, starting from APS-C to the full-frame series along with lenses.
Setting up the booth for the sixth time in a row, we were able to engage with like-minded individuals, which further enables business growth and expansion. By imparting skills and adding to the emerging photography trends, we have managed to create a great experience for visitors at the CEIF 2020 and look forward to come back with an even more informative and immersive set of photography solutions and experiences in the next version of the CEIF.
