The image is captured using Sony Alpha 7m4 model paired with 200-600mm Sony lens. The scene is shot at FCRI campus, Mettupalayam, Tamilnadu. The image is taken during monsoon season dated 6th August 2023 ,around 6 pm. The specie in the image is Asian elephant - sub adult Tusker with one tusk longer than the other. The daily movement of elephants were noted around the waterhole in the campus during evenings, so me and my friends planned a visit the area to capture the visit of elephants. It was observed that elephants approaches the waterhole sources for drinking during evenings. We awaited their approach with proper cover prior to their arrival. After 6 pm movements were noted in the area and we were well prepared to capture the elephants, I observed a male elephant it dranked water for 3 minutes and later went back to the forest. The image is edited using lightroom.The blur in the foreground of the image is because of the presence of a small mound which helped me to take the cover for capturing this photo.
