I had just bought my new Sony A7miv in March 2023 and was eager to shoot the streets, Ramnavami was around the corner so I decided to shoot. I clicked this image in the nearby Ram temple. I was eager to capture the auspicious occasion as this was going to be my first shoot with the new camera. While the kirtan was going on, immense people were enjoying the divine moment. As the tradition goes, a devotee took Shree Ram’s idol in the lap and was trying to sing a lullaby, because Ramnavami is celebrated as the birth of Shree Ram. While making my way through the sea of people, I managed to capture the moment by making a complete sense of Ramnavami. I was blessed to be at the right place and right time, defining the complete journey of the image.
