India stamps out its identity on the world map due to its rich and ancient culture. The youth of India not only continues these years old traditions but actively and proudly participates in protecting and conserving them as seen in the image. Here is a glimpse into the Pandharpur Wari; the great pilgrimage where the pilgrims complete the 250km journey on foot in 21 days with pure devotion and joy.

Sheep know the voice of their shepherd and likewise the shepherd knows the names of each sheep. The shepherd's voice is familiar, it is trusting, and kind so when they call their sheep, they quickly come to them. I felt this thing in Kashmir when I was capturing this moment. This picture is from Kashmir India during summers inside the wild tulip field where a shepherd is roaming with his sheep.

I had just bought my new Sony A7miv in March 2023 and was eager to shoot the streets, Ramnavami was around the corner so I decided to shoot. I clicked this image in the nearby Ram temple. I was eager to capture the auspicious occasion as this was going to be my first shoot with the new camera. While the kirtan was going on, immense people were enjoying the divine moment. As the tradition goes, a devotee took Shree Ram’s idol in the lap and was trying to sing a lullaby, because Ramnavami is celebrated as the birth of Shree Ram. While making my way through the sea of people, I managed to capture the moment by making a complete sense of Ramnavami. I was blessed to be at the right place and right time, defining the complete journey of the image.
