"Annapurna" Annapurna is a Hindu goddess. He is a form of energy. Annapurna two-armed Trinayani, two-handed food vessel and dervish, He is devoted to Annapradayini and Bhavadukkhantri; According to the mythology, Goddess Parvati was given this name for offering food to the beggar lord Shiva. According to Hindu belief, there is no shortage of food in the house if Annapurna is worshipped. This form of Goddess Parvati is just an image of a typical woman, that is, we see a woman in different roles in her life, Sometimes she is a stupid girl, sometimes she is a love-addicted foolish lover, sometimes she is soft and fickle, sometimes she is a tough woman under pressure, and sometimes she is a bride. Become mother Annapurna, sometimes a full-fledged wife, sometimes a mother, and sometimes a powerful Durga in the danger of the family! Women in ordinary life have many times glorified this ten-point avatar woman. So being a photographer I have merely tried to capture and convey the amazing power of womanhood. In the Rath Yatra festival celebrated in West Bengal and Orissa, a lot of young group of boys make pyramids in front of the Rath to resemble the Rath and if successful, they consider it as a holy deed. This is one such moment from a village in Bengal.

Sometimes you get introduced to such unique traditions that you are blown off and can't resist laughing ( in good spirit) . A man from the groom's side is invited to bride's house and the women in bride's family apply make up on him as they like , generally they make him look like a ghost or evil spirit . After the lipstick and various other products he was given a broom and he was paraded through the entire street with all the women following him and making evil sounds . Everyone on the street laughed and joined in . When i enquired about it - they said it is done to keep away all the evil spirits from the pious marriage function and from the bride and groom's life . Truly india is one of a kind and no one can match us , these cultures and traditions define us
