Krishnabai Temple, at Old Mahabaleshwar, Dist. Satara, Maharashtra. A beautiful , isolated , and less known temple at the Edge of Krishna River valley . The very ancient and carved temple has a Shiva lingam and statue of Goddess Krishna. A small and clean stream of the river flowing from a gomukh falls in a very symmetrical Kund, Krishna rivers headwaters from here. Stone carved symetrical columns and beautiful ceilings are the special characteristics of this temple.
