FROM PIXELS TO EMOTIONS: MY PHOTOGRAPHY ODYSSEY
If I were to imagine the beginning of my wedding photography career, it would be in my twenties. It all started as a hobby, but when I took some images at my sister’s wedding in 2013, it caught the attention of many eyes. I was stunned when I got good offers soon after my sister’s wedding, and I eventually decided to give wedding photography a serious go. By halfway through the second year of my MBA in 2013-14, I felt inspired to take my wedding photography career up a notch, which eventually grew into my very own venture, Shutterdown.
I had no idea how quickly time passes; over the years, I have been able to evolve in my profession and earn terrific experience in my forte. I’ve photographed over 200 luxury weddings all over the world, including Austria, Germany, Prague, Thailand, the UAE, Indonesia, Tanzania, Kenya, and Sri Lanka.
My lenses have witnessed love stories in enchanting destinations, from exotic beachside weddings to opulent palace celebrations. My artistry goes beyond mere photography; it’s a journey into the heart of each wedding, crafting visual narratives that resonate with the emotions of the day.
With each click, I capture the essence of love, weaving it into a visual tapestry that stands as an ode to the beauty of human connection. I’m passionate about my work, and with my unwavering pursuit of quality in the realm of wedding photography, I present couples with cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

MY PREFERRED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY LENSES
I shoot weddings in a contemporary style with a more glamour-oriented perspective. My photography and editing approaches are minimalist, which is why I choose to work with the most flexible G Master lenses, which allow me to create exceptional resolution and contrast while also providing good handling and mobility.
My personal favorite G Master lenses are the FE 35mm F1.4 G Master and the FE 50mm F1.2 G Master. I enjoy utilizing these lenses with my Alpha 1 camera, which has a 50.1-megapixel sensor and allows me to recompose the photo totally in post-production.
PERFECTING EVERY FRAME: UNRAVELING G MASTER LENSES’ VERSATILITY
I’m utterly enchanted by the versatility and ease of handling that G Master lenses provide, depending on the vibe and looks that I’m going for. The FE 35mm F1.4 G Master offers me a wider feel, filling in the background more in any lighting condition, but notably during weddings with low lighting. Its exceptional mobility and handling in a wide range of settings and shooting conditions are simply extraordinary. This lens strikes an excellent balance of mobility and image quality, offering outstanding G Master resolution and bokeh with unmatched focusing speed.
For me, the FE 35mm F1.4 G Master and FE 50mm F1.2 G Master lenses go hand in hand, and what connects the versatility of both lenses is the remarkable sharpness they provide in every shot. Working with the 50mm F1.2 G Master prime lens is a wedding photographer’s dream, with an F1.2 maximum aperture that not only allows me to shoot in a wider range of lighting conditions, but also gives an exceptional combination of high-resolution, amazing G Master bokeh, and blazing autofocus. I couldn’t ask for anything more because it’s incredibly compact and lightweight, offering me more creative flexibility.
These two G Master lenses have some amazing features that always help me capture great shots.
FE 50mm F1.2 GM Gets You Superb Sharpness: When I want steadfast high resolution in my photographs, this lens is my first pick. The lens is meant to help achieve outstanding resolution and contrast from the image center out to the edges. It ensures maximum sharpness at all focusing ranges.

FE 35MM F1.4 G MASTER FOR LOW LIGHT SUPERB FOCUSING:
If you’ve ever used this lens, you’ll know what I’m saying. This lens delivers superb clarity in any situation. One can’t get enough of the Nano AR Coating II, which helps one maintain unique image quality even in low-light scenarios.
GREAT DEPTH OF FIELD WITH FE 50MM F1.2 G MASTER LENS:
I find the lens to be incredibly fast and precise, and it delivers accurate focus even with an unusually narrow 50-mm F1.2 depth of field. E-mount bodies provide me with the best results for both stills and video content.
AMAZING BOKEH:
Whenever I’m shooting portraits and want my other subjects to stand out, the FE 50mm F1.2 G Master Lens never disappoints me. The lens produces stunning G Master bokeh that elevates the subjects, especially with the minimal depth of field available at the lens’s maximum F1.2 aperture.
BEYOND CLARITY: THE OUTSTANDING ATTRIBUTE OF G MASTER LENSES
BEYOND CLARITY: THE OUTSTANDING ATTRIBUTE OF G MASTER LENSES
One of the most important, and little-discussed, features of these lenses is that they are all SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT!
Indian weddings are long, hectic events that might leave you exhausted. Having a light body and a light set of lenses allows you to shoot for longer periods with less fatigue.
I have been glad to use Sony’s G Master lenses, which are fantastic, practical, and long-lasting, and they never cease to inspire me to explore more of the dreamy world of wedding photography.
