Naya Bharat - Nayi Umang: The Joranda Mela is held is held every year at Joranda, in the District of Dhenkanal in Odisha, on the full moon day of Hindu calendar month of Magha which falls in the month January or February. Mahima Sanyasis take part in Joranda Mela to worship Mahima Gosain's Samadhi Pitha. Joranda Mela is observed to mark the day of salvation of Mahima Gosain. After few days of Joranda Mela celebration, all the Sadhus of this cault, assemble for a Pangat to feed each others in a feast to mark the end of Joranda Mela.
