Road from Karsha to Padum (elev. 3,500 m (11,500 ft)), with the Zanskar range towering 2,400 m (8,000 ft) above. Photowalks in the thin air in Ladakh were a pleasure with a light-weight A7CR + 20-70 mm G lens.

Eurasian spoonbill in the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary, Srirangapatna, Karnataka. I took this hand-held while sitting in a row boat, thanks to a light-weight A7C coupled with a 200-600mm telephoto.

Indian coral tree with bright red flowers against the mist-shrouded Mallalli Falls, during the SW monsoon rains, Hassan district, Karnataka. I was thankful for the light-weight A7CR with 20-70 lens as I clambered up the steep steps beside the falls in the drizzle.
