Maramadi, also known as “bullsurfing,” is a traditional sport and cultural event in the Palakkad, Kerala. It is a form of bull racing, typically held in the post-harvest season, where pairs of bulls are raced by farmers across waterlogged paddy fields. The event is deeply rooted in the agrarian culture of the region and is often associated with local festivals and celebrations. In the spirit of resilience and unity, this Maramadi is dedicated to the people of Wayanad, honoring their strength in overcoming adversity.
