A Wildlife photographer looks for wildlife wherever he goes - even in the architecturally beautiful temples of Khajuraho!! A little Spotted owlet takes shelter in the stone carvings on the facade of an ancient temple in the Khajuraho complex. The contrast of its white and brown plumage against the red sandstone of the structure makes for an interesting composition.

Aerial perspective of a Wattled Crane in Okavango Delta, Botswana. While in Botswana for wildlife photography, we took an open-door helicopter flight over Okavango delta to get a bird's eye view of the wildlife surviving in the harsh conditions. It was truly challenging to take this particular aerial shot of a beautiful wattled Crane ,a threatened species , against the dark red sands of a tributary of the river , because of the high wind speed and the vibrations caused by the rotor blades of the helicopter. But the final outcome was worth the effort.
