Shot during the month of Ramadan, a street food vendor was preparing for the evening meal. With backlit shot of the steam, chaos all around him and the Masjid in the background, it was quite a dramatic frame to be captured. I closed the aperture to create the sun star to add that final touch to the image.

Shot in Gurez Valley, Kashmir. Gurez is close to the Indo Pak border and is apparently the last village of India. During winters, this place can't be accessed due to the roads being covered by heavy snow, nor the residents can go out of the village. Hence their livelihood is to collect enough resources for 6 months so that they can spend the next 6 months of winter without any scarcity. Seen in this picture are ladies carrying resources from one village to another on foot, typical distance being 2-3 kms between villages

A photograph of Gue monastry in Spiti Valley with the sun-kissed mountain peaks in the background. We traveled for hours on the ghats to visit this place and as soon as I saw the vibrant colors of the architecture of the monastry, I had to take a photo of it against the rich blue sky. I shot this with the a7iii and 24-105 f/4 which I personally consider one of the most versatile setups for travel photography.
