A wide angle vision has created a different anatomical-perspective of the elephant as seen during my travel & visit to the annual cattle fair in Sonepur, Bihar.

An overnight heavy-rain has submerged the city roads, lanes & by-lanes causing immense problem for the city dwellers. A male-mannequin, displayed at the outside of a tailoring-shop in a by-lane, has also got shifted from its usual place to avoid water-contact and this has created different point of views both for itself as well as for the camera when a women with umbrella is trying to reach the shop navigating knee-deep water.

The Victoria Memorial Hall(VMH) is one of the most magnificent monumental-landmark of not only the city of Calcutta(presently Kolkata) but of our entire country. Representing the resplendent and majestic British architecture, VMH was set up to function more than just a memorial for the deceased Queen Victoria in future & accordingly, having a museum housed within its realms as of today, its museum is renowned worldwide as a veritable icon of the city. The then Prince of Wales, laid the foundation stone on January 4, 1906 and it was formally opened to the public in 1921. The memorial with the museum as contemplated, acts as a “standing record of our wonderful history” where people can see experience the pictures and statues of men who played a prominent part in the history of this country and develop a pride in their past. So when the Yoga-Day celebration took place within its vast lushy-green compound, this iconic historical glory impregnated with rich heritage, has became the most influential and magnificent witness to endorse the endeavour of the aspirants.
