"The Sun Denied, but the View Was Splendid" We woke up at 4am, determined to catch the sunrise from Matanga Hill. We set out from our hotel to Hampi Bazaar, following a narrow path that wound its way up the hill. The air was cool and crisp, and the only sound was the occasional chirp of a bird. As we climbed higher, the view of Hampi began to unfold before us. The ancient city was bathed in darkness, its temples and palaces shrouded in mystery. We could see the Tungabhadra River winding its way through the landscape. We reached the top of the hill just as the sun began to peek over the horizon. But to our disappointment, the sky was overcast and the sun was nowhere to be seen. We had been hoping for a spectacular sunrise, but it seemed that the gods were not on our side. Undeterred, we decided to stay on the hill and enjoy the view. The clouds were starting to break up, and we could see patches of blue sky. We took a few pictures of the Virupaksha Temple, which was bathed in the blue hues of dusk. Even though we didn't get to see the sunrise, the view from Matanga Hill was still breathtaking. We stayed on the hill for a while longer, enjoying the peace and quiet. Then, we made our way back down the hill, feeling refreshed and invigorated. We may have been denied the sunrise, but we still had a splendid view. And that's all that matters. "A Moment in Time: Silhouette Against the Sunset" The month of May brought a unique charm to Chandigarh. As the sun began its descent, casting long shadows across the city, I stumbled upon a picturesque scene. The Eiffel Tower, a miniature replica, stood tall next to a leafless tree. The silhouette of both, outlined against the vibrant sunset sky, created a captivating composition. With my Sony gear in hand, I captured this fleeting moment, a testament to the beauty of nature's artistry. As I pedaled through the bustling streets, searching for the perfect shot, I found myself drawn to this particular scene. The soft light bathed the tower in a golden glow, creating a breathtaking backdrop for the tree's silhouette. With a touch of wide-angle magic, I captured the tower's height and the vibrant colors of the sunset, a memory etched in time.
