Discover the incredible diversity of Maharashtra's monsoon wilderness with this immersive Bhigwan Bird & Wildlife Photography Expedition, led by Wildlife Photographer & Mentor Dipankar Bakshi. Designed for photographers, birders, filmmakers, and nature enthusiasts, this expedition takes you through lush forests, open grasslands, and the iconic wetlands of Bhigwan, offering exceptional opportunities to photograph some of India's most sought after birds and wildlife.

The expedition begins at Karmala, where participants will photograph the stunning Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher (ODKF) from professionally designed photography hides, offering exceptional opportunities to capture one of India's most sought after monsoon birds in its natural habitat.

The expedition then continues to the grasslands and scrub forests of Saswad, home to remarkable wildlife including the Vernal Hanging Parrot, Indian Grey Wolf, Striped Hyena, owls, raptors, and a diverse range of monsoon birdlife. Participants will explore these unique habitats while learning fieldcraft, wildlife observation, and creative bird photography techniques.

The final phase of the expedition takes place in the world-renowned wetlands of Bhigwan, where peaceful boat safaris and wetland explorations provide incredible opportunities to photograph flamingos, pelicans, storks, ducks, waders, birds of prey, and many other resident and migratory species. Combined with breathtaking sunrise light, dramatic monsoon skies, and immersive field experiences, every day offers unforgettable photographic moments in some of India's richest birding landscapes.
