Sony introduces the α7R V with a game-changing "AI Processing Unit" that uses detailed information about human forms and postures to offer next-generation camera autofocus with advanced subject recognition and makes full use of the camera's potential resolution.
“Real-Time Recognition” of the full body, head posture, and eyes, works well for extremely close-up and quick images. It can recognize your subject even if it is small, backlit, or far away. This AI-powered camera can detect subjects even when their faces are obscured, or they are facing away. Also, subject recognition has been expanded to include a few new subject types, including animals, insects, birds, and automobiles such as cars, trains, and airplanes.
α7R V is a hybrid camera with AI capabilities, high-speed autofocus, and a resolution of 61.0MP. Other phenomenal features include a 4-axis Multi-Angle LCD Screen28—ideal for greater monitoring flexibility—and 8K/24P video recording.

The animal and bird's eye focus in the Sony is extremely precise. I can confidently leave the focus to the camera and work on my composition. It tracks the subject even in challenging conditions with many distractions around. The introduction of the eye focus for insects is an added advantage for macro photography.
