The wedding saga
For a once in a lifetime moment, such as weddings, there’s no cutting corners. To splurge is a statement; destination wedding is the big fad to remain in for a long time; aspirational photography – that renders the composition a magazine cover shot – is in demand, and the whole market is forever striving to be out of the box.
To the historical moment of this couple’s life is immemorial to them, which is why, what better a place for the shoot than the historic Louvre Museum in the city of love and romance, Paris. The photo, composed by pairing the Master of Resolution – the A7RIII with the SEL1635GM Premium G Master Series wide-angle zoom lens, takes the time-testing place that used to display royal collection as its backdrop, and certainly portrays the subjects as iconic power-couples.
Painting the picture with love
While sunrise and sunset are the best periods to capitalize on the play of colours and dynamism that the vast skies display, they’re also quickly slipping away from you. The FE 16-35mm F2.8GM lens does justice to the fragility and the beauty of the moment with fast and sharp outputs.
Its uncompromised optical design works wonderfully for landscapes, architecture, and other expansive subjects such as vast skies. As intended, the grandiose of the sky is rightfully captured in its true nature through this wide-angle lens that’s an expert in absorbing widest of the arenas in high, corner-to-corner resolution and contrasts.
An equal player in the success of a photograph is the dynamic range and detailing capabilities of the lens that you’re using. When the sun begins setting, it is only a matter of a few minutes to see and capture the shifting canvas. The FE 16-35mm F2.8GM lens is a performer even in low light conditions brought as a challenge to a photographer even within seconds of differences. It replicates each hue of colours effortlessly.
A praise worthy dynamic range that can supress spurious reflection in challenging lighting situations deserves a mention. It is consistent in high contrast and clarity; frees the photographer from worrying about flare over a wide range of incident light angles – clearly incorporated through the architectural structure – and provides greater framing and overall composing flexibility.

Last but not the least, the light and compact FE 16-35mm F2.8GM lens, owing to its class-leading size and weight reductions maintain outstanding optical performance and high mobility that’s key to a professional shoot, and compatible with compact E-mount cameras.
