Vinayak Das

Vinayak Das is the co-founder of Phototantra. His company has been offering photography and cinematography services all across the globe to clients from different walks of life. His company has shot some of the very high profile weddings in India and abroad. Vinayak is listed as one of the top 5 wedding photographers in India by Conde Nast Traveller and Vogue. His work has been featured in various publications including People Magazine US edition, popular TV shows like Ellen Degeneres and Connan O’Biren. Vinayak is a keen travel and documentary photographer. He organises photo expeditions and conducts photography workshops. His documentary and travel work has been exhibited in Spain at the Academy of Fine Arts at Pontevedra University. In India his documentary work has been published in magazines like Time Out and has been exhibited at various venues.

Vinayak is also an avid film maker and is the driving force being the Wedding Films created by Photo Tantra. Vinayak has worked as part of the team for various games shows in Indian TV and has contributed articles to leading newspapers in India. In his college days he was a very propular radio jockey on FM.

His company Phototantra offers special discounts to couples who do not engage animal for wedding processions or animal use for general entertainment during events. Phototantra has always been socially conscious and responsible. The company engages women, people from minority sector and economically weaker sections, trains and mentors them as photographers.
