There’s also a soft skin effect, which minimizes the appearance of facial fine lines, blemishes, and dullness while brightening the eyes and mouth for flawless skin. To modify the smoothness of your skin, select the OFF/Low/Mid/High quality.
Face priority AE
When snapping selfies outside and transitioning from sun to shade, faces appear dark. The ZV-1 II identifies faces instantly and immediately and adjusts the exposure to optimize facial brightness.
Built-in ND filter
Easily shoot in low or bright light. ZV-1 II has a built-in neutral density (ND) filter to control light exposure by three stops, to give images greater expressiveness in bright light. The lens maintains sharpness throughout the zoom range, allowing you to capture all the shots you need to bring your vlog to life.
Accurate Autofocus
The ZV-1 II automatically ensures that you always maintain focus. Since it knows human faces and eyes, it stays focused on the core topic and avoids straying into unrelated subjects. Even animal faces and eyes can be tracked using the Eye AF feature.

My Image Style lets you simply tweak brightness and colour while viewing what you plan to shoot—all without having to wade through menus. For shots with more creative colour and mood, Creative Look offers 10 presets so simply select one that matches your vision.

Intuitive touch operation
You can toggle settings by swiping from the main screen's left and right sides using the touch function icons, such as REC or Cinematic Vlog. To easily reach the shooting menu (Fn menu), swipe up from the bottom. Touch operation can be used to modify the F-number, shutter speed, ISO, exposure correction, and white balance.
AF transition speed/AF subject shift sensitivity
During video recording, the AF transition speed is utilised to choose the focusing speed, and the AF subject shift sensitivity manages the focus stickiness according to the subject’s movement and environment.
