About Myself

My name is Sangay Tshering Bhutia, also known as Ludup Gyatso. I am an educator and a passionate photographer with a deep love for visual storytelling. My photographic journey began at Exposure, The School of Photography in Siliguri, where I built a strong foundation and developed a lasting connection with the art of capturing moments.

I specialize in travel, astro, landscape, and people photography, striving to portray the essence of the places I explore and the lives I encounter. From the vast night skies and Himalayan landscapes to vibrant fairs and quiet human moments, my work seeks to tell stories that are authentic and timeless.

My work has been recognized with awards from the Darjeeling Photography Society and Shutterspeed, Kolkata, along with several honours in online photography competitions. These recognitions inspire me to push creative boundaries and share my vision with a wider audience.

Photography, for me, is not just about images but about creating connections—between people, cultures, and the beauty of the natural world.

I am truly honoured to be part of the Sony Alpha community, where I can share my work, connect with fellow photographers, and continue learning and growing.
