About Rithika jain
Where Wildlife, Emotion and Storytelling meet.
I am a wildlife storyteller, and wildlife photography, for me, is an extension of who I am.
My connection with the wild is deeply personal and instinctive. I am drawn to quiet, intimate moments — stories of resilience, vulnerability, and coexistence — and my work focuses on creating emotional connections between wildlife and the viewer, rather than simply documenting encounters.
Over the past four years, my journey has taken me through the jungles of India and Africa, where I photograph wildlife with patience, respect, and deep observation. My approach to visual storytelling is strongly shaped by my background in cinematography — I studied filmmaking with a focus on cinematography at the prestigious London Film Academy, where I was awarded a scholarship. This training continues to influence how I think about narrative, pacing, and emotion, even within a single frame.
My work has been featured on National Geographic India and Animal Planet, published in print by the Daily Star newspaper in the United Kingdom, and recognized as Second Runner-Up at Sony BBC Earth In Focus.
I am currently focused on expanding into long-form storytelling and documentary collaborations, creating meaningful visual narratives that foster empathy, awareness, and conservation.
